A recent global survey has unveiled a stark reality in India, where an astonishing 80 million dogs and cats find themselves without a place to call home. These animals endure a daily struggle, facing cruelty, road-related accidents, and pressing health issues.

The documented cases are deeply troubling, with approximately 1,000 incidents of assault, including 82 instances of sexual abuse, 266 cold-blooded murders, and over 400 violent attacks involving beating, kicking, torture, acid or boiling water attacks, body mutilation, knife assaults, and various forms of brutality. Astonishingly, 20 of these cases implicated children as perpetrators.
