About
the Role: As a Social Media Team Manager at OMF, you will be
responsible for elevating our social media presence and aligning it with our
mission-driven goals. Your role involves collaborating with the Communications
team, overseeing content strategies, and managing a dedicated team of social
media specialists. You will actively contribute to the improvement of our
existing social media funnel and implement strategies to measure and optimize
campaign success.
Responsibilities:

Enhance and optimize the current social media strategy to
align with OMF's mission and goals.
·
Collaborate with the Communications director at OMF to
refine the social media funnel in line with the organization's messaging.
·
Oversee and manage the creation of compelling content
across various social media platforms, ensuring it resonates with OMF's
audience.
·
Measure the success of social media campaigns using
relevant metrics, with a focus on impact and engagement related to OMF's
initiatives.
·
Stay abreast of the latest social media trends and
implement them effectively, considering their relevance to OMF's objectives.
·
Utilize social media marketing tools and explore automation
options for the team, keeping in mind OMF's unique requirements.
·
Work closely with content strategists, campaign managers,
copywriters, and designers to ensure all content is aligned with OMF's brand
and mission.
·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
Marketing, Fundraising, and Mission Development at OMF.
·
Continuously optimize checkpoints on each social media
platform for maximum impact, tailoring strategies to OMF's objectives.
·
Engage with industry professionals and influencers to build
a strong network, fostering partnerships that align with OMF's mission.
·
Provide one-on-one management for the social media team
members, ensuring their efforts contribute effectively to OMF's goals.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of dedicated experience as a
Social Media Team Manager or in a similar leadership role, overseeing a team of
Social Media associates within the non-profit or social impact sector.
· 4+ years of proven expertise
specifically in Social Media, with a focus on driving engagement and awareness
for charitable causes.
· Demonstrated success in growing social
media channels for non-profit or impactful organizations, showcasing a
commitment to advancing meaningful missions.
· In-depth knowledge of various social
media platforms, including Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest,
Instagram, TikTok, and a keen interest in staying updated on emerging channels
relevant to the non-profit landscape.
· Proficiency in understanding social
media algorithms, with a track record of optimizing strategies for increased
reach, engagement, leads, and support.
· Experience conducting audience and donor
persona research, tailoring social media content to effectively resonate with
OMF's supporters and stakeholders.
· A solid understanding of social media
metrics and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
for enhanced impact.
· Proactive problem-solving mindset,
coupled with excellent time-management skills to efficiently navigate the
dynamic nature of non-profit social media.
· Exceptional interpersonal, presentation,
and communication skills, with a passion for translating OMF's mission into
compelling narratives.
